Alphabet flashcards printables

Alphabet flashcards by Patricia Zapata for A Little Hut.

I had a question and it was answered in an unexpected way. I wasn’t sure what project to work on for the shop this week (aside from the files I still haven’t uploaded – procrastination is here and I don’t know why) and that’s when I got an email from a teacher requesting my old alphabet flash cards. I had to do a little digging to figure out when I first created them — it was 2009! Wow.

I’m just thrilled that I still like them myself. It isn’t one of those “what the heck was I thinking” kind of projects. However, I did make minor improvements to some images and completely changed others. The set includes cards in two different sizes. It also includes, for the first time, a black and white outlined version of each card to be used as a coloring page.

Since this update of an old project had me digging into my archive, I saw some other printables that I think will be making a comeback as well. Stay tuned.

Speaking of long ago… here is a nice feature of the cards when I first published them.

Happy weekend everyone!
